What's in SESA Crunch? Roasted black sesame, pumpkin seeds, white sesame seeds, raw honey, chia seeds, brown rice syrup, ground flaxseed, and vanilla extract. Eight ingredients — every one intentional. No fillers, no refined sugar, nothing you can't pronounce.

How is black sesame different from regular sesame? Black sesame retains its hull, which is where most of its calcium, iron, and lignans — particularly sesamin and sesamolin — are concentrated. White sesame is typically hulled, which strips away much of its nutritional density. Black sesame also has a deeper, more complex flavor: roasted, slightly bitter, rich.

Why these eight ingredients specifically? Each one earns its place. Black sesame is the foundation — nutritionally dense and flavor-forward. Pumpkin seeds add magnesium and plant protein. Chia and flaxseed bring omega-3s and fiber. White sesame adds texture and calcium. Raw honey and brown rice syrup bind and sweeten without refined sugar. Vanilla extract brings warmth and depth. Nothing is added to fill space.

Is it very sweet? Lightly. Raw honey is the primary sweetener and we use it deliberately. The sesame flavor leads; the honey rounds it out. If you've ever had good halvah or a sesame brittle, you'll know the register — just cleaner and less sugary.

Is SESA Crunch good for me? Black sesame is a concentrated source of calcium, iron, zinc, vitamin E, and plant lignans with antioxidant activity. We make no disease claims — but the nutritional profile of these ingredients has been studied and used in traditional wellness systems for millennia. Any allergens I should know about? Yes — sesame is a top-9 allergen in the US. SESA Crunch is gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free, but it is a sesame product. Not suitable for sesame allergies. Produced in a facility that handles tree nuts.

How should I store it? Cool, dry place. No refrigeration needed. Best consumed within 3 months of opening. Don't hoard it — eat it.
